IZTECH Racing Doruk 2026 (Formula Student) for Assetto Corsa

What this mod does

Doruk is the 2026 season car from IZTECH Racing, the Formula Student team of the Izmir Institute of Technology (Turkey). It was brought to Assetto Corsa by a member of the team, Ödül Yarkın Baran, who did the model, physics, liveries and conversion.

How it’s made

• The 3D model comes straight from the team’s CAD.
• The physics use the car’s parameters and the lap simulation data the team works on in MATLAB.
• The driver animations are based on the Kunos template.

What’s included

• Two liveries: the Doruk race livery and a concept design for 2027.
• Animated suspension: wishbones and tie rods move with the wheels.
• Fixed steering, with no bump steer and full ±178° rotation, plus paddle shifter animation.
• GSR600 engine with a more realistic restricted torque curve.

Version

Version 1.3.0 was published on October 25, 2026, the same day as the launch, after three updates: suspension and steering, a major physics issue and, finally, tires compared against telemetry from other Formula Student cars plus adjusted brakes.

Known issues

It doesn’t have LODs yet, so it’s heavier on large grids; the hands may not look right at full lock and the physics are still being tuned. The author recommends Custom Shaders Patch.

Requirements

• Assetto Corsa for PC
• Custom Shaders Patch strongly recommended
• Sol or Pure optional
• Free OverTake.gg account to download

How to install it

1. Install or update Custom Shaders Patch from Content Manager.
2. Open the Doruk page on OverTake.gg, sign in and download the file (about 31 MB).
3. Drag the file into Content Manager and click Install, or copy the car folder to assettocorsa/content/cars.
4. Pick the Doruk and try it first on a small or karting track.
