Fiat Panda 900 i.e. (1992) for Assetto Corsa

What this mod does

The 1992 Fiat Panda 900 i.e. is the first generation of the popular Italian city car, built from 1980 to 2003 and designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro and Aldo Mantovani. This mod by SATLAB, his first car made from scratch, recreates it with front-wheel drive, a five-speed manual gearbox and the 45 hp 903 engine.

What’s included

• 3D model based on official Fiat blueprints.
• Physics using real data from the official workshop manual.
• Animated front suspension and windshield wipers.
• Ten real body colors.
• Six fictional racing skins; the MOMO and Davia ones are inspired by the Japanese Fiat Panda Cup.
• Livery templates and customizable license plates.

Sound

The engine sound isn’t its own: it’s taken from a Kunos car, the Audi Sport quattro S1.

Versions

Version 1.2 fixed a bug with the automatic gearbox and traction control when using assists, and improved the model. Before that, the Custom Shaders Patch real mirrors and the collider height were fixed.

Still to come

The author plans to add animated doors, dirt and damage textures, better LODs and more skins.

Requirements

How to install it

1. Go to the Fiat Panda 900 i.e. page on OverTake.gg and sign in.
2. Download the file (about 125 MB).
3. Copy the content folder from the archive into your main Assetto Corsa folder, or drag it into Content Manager.
4. Pick one of the ten colors or a racing skin and head out on track.
