Skoda 130 RS for Assetto Corsa

What this mod does

The Skoda 130 RS is a 1970s Czechoslovak legend nicknamed the «Porsche of the East»: it was designed in 1975 and won its class at the Monte Carlo Rally. This mod by Fuzo and the Trained Monkey Modding team recreates it from the 1976 homologation papers, at about 800 kg with a 1.3-liter engine.

What’s included

• Physics checked with real owners and with consultant Arch; aerodynamics revised by Robert Habinak in 1.9.
• Working taillights and turn signals, odometer, and windshield wipers with rain support.
• Animated suspension, gear lever and engine pulleys; animated rear trunk with Custom Shaders Patch.
• Sound by ACFan.
• Real Czechoslovak driver skins from the Racingtech CZ pack.

Pace

Because it follows the 1976 homologation, it’s a bit slower than the street cars many owners modified. It’s optimized for multiplayer.

Version

Version 1.9 redid the aerodynamics using simulation data, adjusted the power curve and changed the suspension type. Before that, 1.8 fixed the rear toe and 1.7 the front anti-roll bar.

How to install it

1. Go to the Skoda 130 RS page on OverTake.gg and sign in.
2. Download the file (about 62 MB).
3. Read the included ReadMe.pdf.
4. Drag the file into Content Manager or copy the car folder into assettocorsa/content/cars.
5. Pick one of the Czechoslovak driver skins and head out on track.
