What this mod does

The Honda Acty HA3 is one of those small Japanese kei trucks, the tiny flatbed pickups you see all over Japan. DTM1120 modeled it from scratch for Assetto Corsa and released it with its own sound, livery and physics.

What’s included

  • A 3D model made entirely by the author, with engine sound data, livery and custom physics.
  • Animated turn signals and wipers via Custom Shaders Patch.
  • A PSD livery template linked from the mod page.
  • A very light file: about 23 MB.

Who it’s for

For anyone who wants something different: a tiny work truck lapping Imola or Laguna Seca, as in the mod page screenshots. It’s ideal for joke races with friends, videos or just a leisurely drive.

Version

1.0 (November 2019) is the only one released. The author announced that a future version would fix the missing gear stick boot and some sound bugs that had been reported to him. With a 4.8 out of 5 rating and nearly 50,000 downloads, it’s one of the quirkiest mods in the cars category.

How to install it

  1. Go to the Honda Acty page on OverTake.gg and log in.
  2. Download the file (about 23 MB).
  3. Drag it into Content Manager or copy the car folder into assettocorsa/content/cars.
  4. Enable Custom Shaders Patch to get turn signals and wipers.

Common problems

What is a kei truck?

A Japanese category of very small vehicles with size and engine displacement limits.

The turn signals don't work

They need Custom Shaders Patch.

The gear stick boot is missing

It's a known bug the author noted down to fix.
