What this mod does
The Alfa Romeo GTAm (Giulia GT 1750 GTAm) replaced the GTA in the 1970 European Touring Car Championship: bigger, wilder and faster, and it won the title that same year. Pessio built it from scratch for Assetto Corsa.
What’s included
- Between 220 and 240 hp through Firestone racing tires.
- Animated suspension with real geometry; the solid rear axle mimics the original car’s “slittone” system.
- Sound recorded from GTAm engines on a dyno, with performance balanced against Kunos’s Ford Escort RS.
- Animated wipers, rain on the glass, damage, dirt and inner headlights that switch on separately with Extra A.
- Liveries by Andy-R and a 2K version for lower-end PCs.
Who it’s for
For historic touring car races alongside Kunos’s Alfa GTA and Escort. It has also been used in hillclimbs.
Version
Version 1.32 (March 2021) removed the need for a DLC to use the car. Before that, 1.3 reworked the suspension and added details for Custom Shaders Patch. For the 2K textures, rename the folder instead of overwriting the skins folder.

How to install it
- Go to the GTAm page on OverTake.gg and log in.
- Download the file (about 122 MB).
- Drag it into Content Manager or copy the car folder to assettocorsa/content/cars.
- If you have a lower-end PC, rename the skins folder and use the 2K one in its place (don't overwrite it).

Common problems
Do I need any DLC?
Not anymore: 1.32 removed that dependency.
How do I use the 2K textures?
Rename or delete the skins folder and put the 2K one in its place; don't overwrite it, because some files change.
How do I turn on only the inner headlights?
With the Extra A button.
