What this mod does
The Honda S800 RSC is the racing version of Honda’s little 1960s sports car: about 100 hp, according to the mod page’s subtitle, in a tiny, light car. It was created by A3DR, Alberto Daniel Russo, and the physics are by Jason Coates, Aphidgod.
What’s included
- Model by A3DR with a removable roof as a setup option and a four-point harness.
- Physics revised several times by Aphidgod: tires, inertia, default setup and aerodynamics.
- Custom Shaders Patch paint shading, a refraction effect on the headlights, and working fuel and temperature gauges.
- Liveries by GTAce and two from LeSunTzu’s HTCC championship.
Who it’s for
For anyone who enjoys small classics on period tracks, like Kunos’s 1966 Monza seen in the screenshots. It’s a rewarding car for learning to carry speed.
Version
Version 2.5 (May 2021) added the refraction headlights, new tires and a lighter car file. The author asks you to delete the old folder before installing and to use Custom Shaders Patch 0.1.73, because other versions may cause issues.

How to install it
- Delete the folder from the previous S800 RSC version.
- Go to the mod page on OverTake.gg, log in and download the file (about 89 MB).
- Drag it into Content Manager or copy the car folder to assettocorsa/content/cars.
- Enable Custom Shaders Patch and look for Honda S800 RSC in the list.
