NISMO Skyline R33 GT-R LM for Assetto Corsa

What this mod does

The NISMO Skyline R33 GT-R LM is the racing version of the R33 that Nissan prepared for Le Mans and the Japanese GT championship (JGTC) in 1995. Its author, JeezyCreezy, started it in 2018 as a test for a job interview and later rebuilt it for release, after four or five months of work.

What’s included

• Model and textures made by the author with 3ds Max, Substance Painter and Photoshop.
• Performance balanced so lap times are close to its qualifying lap at the 1995 Suzuka 1000 km.
• All gauges working, plus lights, exhaust flames, wheel blur and brake temperature visible in Sidekick.
• Damage and dirt masks, a livery template and two extra liveries by Mahad.

Who it’s for

For fans of 1990s Japanese GT cars. It’s an all-wheel-drive endurance car, comfortable on long, fast tracks.

Version

Version 1.4 (May 2020) rebuilt the suspension and tires, adjusted the setup and brake heating, and added damage and gear lever vibration. The author still considers it a work in progress and asks for feedback. He only allows sharing the link to the mod page, not reuploading or modifying the car.

How to install it

1. Go to the R33 GT-R LM page on OverTake.gg and log in.
2. Download the file (about 138 MB).
3. Drag it into Content Manager or copy the car folder to assettocorsa/content/cars.
4. Look for NISMO Skyline R33 GT-R LM in the car list.
