What this mod does
The 1999 BTCC Volvo S40 is another Super Touring car from the golden age of the British championship, with an engine that sounds fantastic. This mod is released by Patrik Marek, author of the Nissan Primera and the BMW 320i STW, and was made together with Paul NLC, who handled the model, textures and liveries.

- Physics by Abbo90 and Ben Lee, based on an unreleased evolution of the Nissan Primera’s.

For building 1999 Super Touring grids alongside the Primera and other cars from the era. It’s light: the file is about 35 MB.
Version
Version 0.7.2 (May 2021) is a work-in-progress release. It lacks inner glass, which matters for RainFX rain, has no animated wiper, the sound still needs balancing and it doesn’t have LODs yet. It needs Custom Shaders Patch: in Assetto Corsa without the patch, the game will usually crash.

How to install it
- Install or update Custom Shaders Patch from Content Manager.
- Go to the Volvo S40 page on OverTake.gg, log in and download the file (about 35 MB).
- Drag it into Content Manager and install it, or copy its contents into the Assetto Corsa folder.
- Look for 1999 Volvo S40 BTCC in the car list.
