What this mod does
The Nissan Primera was the car that dominated the British Touring Car Championship in 1999, right in the golden age of two-liter Super Touring cars. This mod by Patrik Marek (PM3DM) has been out since 2014 and has passed 200,000 downloads on OverTake, with an average rating of 4.8 out of 5 from over 300 reviews.
What’s included
- Model, textures and shaders made by the author himself, with a high-resolution interior and driver and gear lever animations.
- Physics revised by several contributors, with tires and suspension reworked in the latest version and an engine curve based on Judd data.
- Switchable headlights, animated wipers and an extension folder for Custom Shaders Patch lights.
- Levels of detail (LOD) so it performs well on big grids.
Who it’s for
If you like nineties touring cars, it’s a light, front-wheel-drive car that’s very rewarding on technical tracks. It pairs really well with the same author’s BMW 320i STW for setting up period races.
Version
The latest update is from April 2020. The author recommends installing it by dragging the file’s contents into the game folder, because Content Manager may not copy the shaders from the system folder.

- Download the file (about 65 MB) and open it with 7-Zip or WinRAR.
- Copy the folders in the archive (content and system) straight into the Assetto Corsa root folder.

I installed it with Content Manager and it looks wrong
Content Manager may not copy the system folder. Copy the file's contents into the game folder by hand.
Can I paint my own liveries?
