What this mod does
The Abarth 1000 Berlina is the little Fiat 600 that Abarth turned into a racing weapon in the 1960s. This mod by Giuseppe Abagnale traces its evolution from the 1963 Berlina Turismo to the 1970 Group 2 car, with about 112 hp. The author did his research with period books by Gianfranco Bossù and by Aligi and Elvio Deganello.

- Six separate cars by year and FIA class: 1963 Berlina Turismo, 1964, 1965 and 1970 Group 2, and 1966 and 1968 Group 5.
- A variety of liveries for every version.
- Physics refined over years: suspension, springs, dampers, differentials, inertia and AI.

Who it’s for
For anyone who enjoys small, twitchy rear-engined cars that need care when you lift off the throttle. The author compares them to Kunos’s Abarth 595 and Alfa Romeo GTA.
Version
Version 2.0 (June 2020) rebuilt almost everything, including the folder names, so you can delete earlier versions. Since this version, Custom Shaders Patch is required.

How to install it
- Install or update Custom Shaders Patch.
- Delete the folders from earlier Abarth 1000 versions.
- Go to the mod page on OverTake.gg, log in and download the file (about 333 MB).
- Drag it into Content Manager or copy the folders to assettocorsa/content/cars.
- Pick the year and class you want from the list.

Common problems
The car won't load
Since 2.0 you need Custom Shaders Patch; install or update it.
What's the difference between Group 2 and Group 5?
They're different FIA classes; the Group 5 versions are the most heavily modified.
It oversteers when I lift off
That's typical of a rear-engined car; the author suggests lowering the front pressure and raising the rear.
