NA660 Series Suzuki Alto HA23V for Assetto Corsa

What this mod does

The Suzuki Alto HA23V in this mod is built to NA660 rules, a Japanese championship for small naturally aspirated 660 cc kei cars. It was made by DTM1120, who also created the sound for the Caterham Seven 165, and it has a rating of 4.93 out of 5.

What’s included

• A 3D model made entirely from scratch by the author.
• Sound built from Suzuki K6A engine data.
• Custom physics, tuned to the NA660 spec.
• Lots of skins, some by the author and many made by fans.
• Aero parts that change depending on the skin.

How it drives

It’s light and low on power: users mention a top speed of about 155 km/h. The fun is in carrying speed through corners and in close racing.

Version

Version 1.1, from June 2018, updated the tire physics, including their performance curve, and adjusted the lights. The author explains that he developed it bit by bit and checked its stability before releasing it.

Tips

Since the aero depends on the skin, making your own liveries is trickier than usual. For group racing, make sure everyone runs the same version. There’s a separate skin pack linked by the author.

How to install it

1. Go to the Suzuki Alto HA23V page on OverTake.gg and log in.
2. Download the file (about 221 MB).
3. Drag it into Content Manager and install it, or copy the folder into assettocorsa/content/cars.
4. Pick a skin (each one can have its own aero) and head out on track.
