What this mod does
The Caterham Seven 165 is the most modest version of the modern Seven: a 660 cc three-cylinder Suzuki turbo engine, about 80 hp and 490 kg, on narrow 155/65 R14 tires. Ben O’Bro built it from his Caterham 7 Super Sprint, and the author presents it as a friendly way to learn to drift.

- 660 cc sound by DTM1120, based on the Alto 660 by aoitori_jpn.
Who it’s for
It’s slower than the Super Sprint, but its low grip makes it great fun and very instructive: the rear steps out easily and it’s easy to catch. It’s ideal for practicing car control without high speeds.
Details
The latest update fixed the AI and added the new sound. The author warns of an odd bug: with a gamepad, at full steering lock the driver’s hand can go flying. The livery templates are on his website.
Tips
If you prefer a different sound, you can swap it from Content Manager. Try the author’s other Caterhams too.

How to install it
- Go to the Caterham Seven 165 page on OverTake.gg and sign in.
- Download the file (about 28 MB).
- Drag it into Content Manager and install it, or copy the folders into assettocorsa/content/cars.
- Pick the left-hand or right-hand drive version and head out on track.
