BTBFin Kanniranni Gravel Rally Stage for Assetto Corsa

What this mod does

Kanniranni is a dirt rally stage by the BTBfin team, the first one the group released for Assetto Corsa. It’s uploaded by TTM75 as version 0.98 and has a rating of 4.88 out of 5.

What’s included

• Practice, hotlap and quick race modes.
• Five pit boxes in quick race.
• Very slippery gravel surface.
• Multiplayer may work, but it hasn’t been tested.

Origins

The team built the stage from scratch for Richard Burns Rally and remade it for Assetto Corsa; according to the author, what remains from that version is mainly the buildings and the terrain mesh. He also denied that it comes from rFactor. Full credits are in the included Readme.

What it’s like

Users describe it as narrow. The loss of speed in the first 50 to 100 meters before the start is intentional. Since Assetto Corsa doesn’t have its own dirt sound, the stage uses Kunos’s gravel sound, which is quite faint.

Tips

The author recommends turning on ABS and maybe traction control, given how little grip the gravel offers. The promised version 1.0 was never released, so treat it as a very playable beta.

How to install it

1. Go to the Kanniranni page on OverTake.gg and sign in.
2. Download the file (about 171 MB).
3. Copy the btbfin_kanniranni folder into assettocorsa/content/tracks, or drag the file into Content Manager.
4. Pick a rally car, turn on ABS and head out in practice or hotlap.
