What this mod does
Mobil Home HDTS is a cargo mod by HDTS_Créations that adds a mobile home 9.41 m long and 4 m wide, with a detailed model. It’s meant for oversize hauls with your own trailer, in the style of the convoys that move prefab houses by road.
How to use it
- You need your own lowboy or lowbed trailer, in the extended position.
- Look for the cargo offer on the freight market with that trailer.
- According to the author, it’s compatible with SCS trailers and several car transporters.
If the house doesn’t appear on the trailer, the author explains that the problem is usually the wrong trailer or the wrong offer.
Version
The title and description say it’s made for 1.54; the latest update is from May 31, 2025. There are unanswered questions about 1.55 and 1.57, and a user posted an error log in which the game crashed because the cargo exceeds the legal width and couldn’t find a compatible trailer. Another says it works fine on the Utopia map.
The author’s advice
Jokingly, he recommends keeping an eye on your mirrors and avoiding highways, because the toll booths can get a bit tight.
