What this mod does
Geistal is a Bavaria-inspired map by Lucas G, with steep slopes, roads winding up and down between hills, and wide-open views. It’s a classic European farm map: lots of medium and small plots, livestock, forest and a good number of industries to sell to.
Content
- 250 farmlands for sale, more than 45 forest areas, and 108 fields plus 32 meadows.
- 10 farms, some with a hay dryer, and 17 productions, including two biogas plants.
- More than 20 selling points and a train that runs across the whole map.
- Extra crops like spring and winter wheat, spelt, rye, triticale, alfalfa, clover and mustard.
- You can fill up with water at any river, pond or lake, and there are 64 collectible pretzels.
Three versions in one mod
When you create your savegame you choose between the standard version, one with bale storage, and a multiplayer one where the farms aren’t pre-placed and are acquired along with the land. The author says future updates won’t force you to start a new savegame.
Compatibility
It works with CCM, but the author advises against using it with Straw Harvest Addon and with mods that add lots of products. Version 1.5.0.0 fixed minor bugs, issues with additional missions and a fence on the sheep pen, and adjusted animal prices.

How to install it
- On console: open the ModHub from the game, search for Geistal and download it.
- On PC/Mac: download FS25_Geistal.zip from the official ModHub page.
- Copy the .zip, unextracted, into Documents/My Games/FarmingSimulator2025/mods.
- Disable Straw Harvest Addon and mods that add lots of products if you use them.
- Create a new savegame and choose the Geistal variant you want: standard, with bale storage or multiplayer.

Common problems
Which version should I pick to play with friends?
The multiplayer version. In it, the farms aren't pre-placed and are bought along with the land.
