Komatsu Harvester 911 for Farming Simulator 25

What this mod does

The Komatsu Harvester 911 is a forestry harvester released for free by GIANTS Software itself, under license from Komatsu. It expands the game’s forestry lineup with a well-known mid-size machine for forest work.

In-game specs

• Category: forestry, harvesters.
• Power: 228 hp.
• Top speed: 20 km/h.
• Price: $375,000.
• Download of about 37 MB, no dependencies.

What it’s for on the farm

A harvester fells the tree, delimbs it and cuts it into logs of the length you choose, all with the head. It’s the key machine if you want to make money from timber: clearing forest plots for new fields, supplying a sawmill or selling logs.

Tips

The harvester only cuts; to get the timber out of the woods you need a forwarder that picks up the logs and takes them to a landing or a truck. Adjust the cut length to the destination: the sawmill and the selling points pay differently. Since it only reaches 20 km/h, load it onto a lowboy for long trips. It’s a big investment, so it pays to have contracts or forest plots that justify it.

Requirements

• Farming Simulator 25 on PC/Mac, PS5, Xbox Series X|S or Nintendo Switch 2
• About 38 MB of free space
• A forwarder to haul the timber out
