What this mod does
Precision Farming is GIANTS Software’s free content that makes managing your fields far more detailed. You install it from the ModHub, and in Farming Simulator 25 it arrives as version 3.0, which adds new features on top of those from previous releases.
What changes in the game
- Soil types and soil sampling, so you know what each part of a field needs.
- Crop sensors and variable-rate application, with yield maps and economic analysis.
- An environmental score for the way you farm.
- Tramlines to keep your machinery running in the same tracks every time.
- Subsidies for nitrogen-saving crops.
- Pulse-width modulation (PWM) and automatic section control to fine-tune fertilizer and crop protection application.
- Sensors you can mount on existing equipment to spray only where there are weeds.
Included machines
It brings six machines, including the Isaria SCOUT and Isaria PRO Active sensors, the John Deere R732i and R975i PowrSpray trailed sprayers, and the 25,000-liter Wienhoff slurry tanker with the HAWE swap body system.
It’s for players who want to optimize costs and yields field by field. If you prefer a more relaxed game, it can feel demanding at first.

How to install it
- On console: open the ModHub in the game and download Precision Farming.
- On PC/Mac: download it from the official ModHub page or from the in-game ModHub.
- If you download it manually, copy the .zip without unzipping it to Documents/My Games/FarmingSimulator2025/mods.
- Enable it when you create or load your savegame.
- Buy the new machines in the shop and check the Precision Farming menu to see soils and yields.

Does it work with community maps?
Many maps state on their page that they're compatible; check before you start.
Is it on Switch 2?
The ModHub page only lists it for PC/Mac, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
