What this mod does

Windmill is a traditional windmill by The Lort that works as a small factory on your farm. It grinds grain into flour, makes sugar from sugar beets and sugarcane and, since version 1.1, also presses seeds and olives to produce oil.

What’s included

• Mill (production): $50,000 and $30 per day in upkeep.
• Generator mill: $30,000, generates income of around $100 per hour.

Recipes

• Wheat, barley, oats, millet, corn, sunflower, canola or soybeans → flour.
• Sugar beet or sugarcane → sugar.
• Sunflower → sunflower oil; canola → canola oil.
• Olives → olive oil; rice → rice oil.

What it’s for

It lets you process your harvest on your own land instead of hauling it to the map’s factories, and it looks great as a decorative piece on European and Mediterranean maps. If you grow olives, it’s an easy way to turn them into oil without any trips.

Platforms

It’s under 3 MB and runs on PC/Mac, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2, with no dependencies. Remember you’ll need a trailer or pallets to collect the flour, sugar or oil it produces.

How to install it

1. On console: open the ModHub from the game menu, search for "Windmill" and download it.
2. On PC/Mac: download it from the in-game ModHub or get FS25_WindMill.zip from the official mod page.
3. If you download it manually, copy the .zip without unzipping it into Documents > My Games > FarmingSimulator2025 > mods.
4. Enable the mod when you load or create your savegame.
5. Place it from the construction menu: the mill is under productions and the generator under generators.
