What this mod does
RPG Leveling And Stats adds full RPG progression to Hytale. You earn experience by defeating monsters, mining ore and chopping trees, level up and spend points on your stats. In return, the world gets tougher too: enemies have levels, and their health and damage grow with them.
What it adds
- Six built-in classes (Heavy, Blunt, Edge, Fang, Archery and Arcane) with ranks from T0 to T4 and growing bonuses.
- 18 passive abilities, like lifesteal, Riposte or Last Stand.
- Stat points for damage, defense, health, stamina or mana, among others.
- Six zones with level ranges and an XP penalty if you attack enemies far below your level.
- Four difficulty presets, from easy to extreme.
- HUD with level, XP bar and current zone, levels shown above players and monsters, and a top-100 player leaderboard.
Commands and configuration
/lvl gui opens the stats and classes window, and /lvl info shows your character sheet. Admins get commands to set levels, grant XP or reset stats. Everything is tweaked in JSON files: classes, passives, zones and XP curves, and you can even rework the classes with a different theme. On servers it supports H2, MySQL or PostgreSQL databases.
Who it’s for
For players who miss character progression in Hytale and for servers looking for an MMO-style approach. Version 0.3.13 is published for Hytale 0.6; the author recommends backing up before major game updates.
Update (Oct 12, 2026): with Update 7 (0.7) now out, the author has already published a compatible file: version 0.4.1 (October 12, 2026). What’s described on this page was checked with the previous version; check the author’s changelog in case anything has changed.
