How to use Holyfix
View tutorial- Choose your gameAt the top, next to the Holyfix logo, you choose the game. Each game has its own analyzer.
- Find the log fileThe game writes everything that happens while you play to a text file. In FS25 it's called log.txt; Help shows where it is on each system.
- Load it right after the problemDrop it into Holyfix before you open the game again, because it's wiped every time you open it.
- Read the summaryWe tell you in one sentence what's going on and where to start. Your file never leaves your computer.
- Fix the problems one by oneIn Problems, do what “What to do” says for the first one, mark it as done and move on to the next. They're sorted from most to least likely.
- Check the modsIn My mods you see all your mods with their status and a link to their mod page and official download.
- Don't worry about version warningsA mod being marked for another game version isn't always a problem: many work anyway. Only check them if the problem continues.
- Try againOpen the game, repeat what was failing and load the new log to check it's fixed.
- If it still fails, ask for helpShare your diagnosis with a link to ask for help on a forum or on Discord, or press “Holyfix didn't help me” and we'll review it.

Frequently asked questions
Where is the log.txt?
On Windows: Documents › My Games › FarmingSimulator2025 › log.txt. The game overwrites it every time it starts, so load it right after the problem. On macOS it’s in ~/Library/Application Support/FarmingSimulator2025/, and if your Documents folder is in OneDrive, look in OneDrive › Documents › My Games › FarmingSimulator2025.
On other systems:
- macOS:
~/Library/Application Support/FarmingSimulator2025/ - OneDrive:
%USERPROFILE%\OneDrive\Documents\My Games\FarmingSimulator2025
What does Holyfix check?
- Mods the game ignores: invalid .zip names, unzipped folders, packs with several mods inside.
- Mods for Farming Simulator 22 or older that FS25 won’t load.
- Missing mods or DLC another mod needs.
- Script (LUA) errors, broken files and too many product types.
- Mods we don’t know yet: you can ask us to review them.

Is it safe? Do you upload my file?
It’s safe. The file is read in your browser and never sent to any server. We only receive what you choose to send: a request to review a mod (its Steam Workshop number or file name), your feedback and, if you say yes at the end, anonymous statistics. Learn more.
Is there a load order in Farming Simulator 25?
No. Unlike ETS2, FS25 has no load order: leave each mod’s .zip as it is in the mods folder (no folders inside, no duplicates) and enable in your savegame the mods each one needs.
My savegame won’t load. Can Holyfix tell me which mods it needs?
Yes. Open the “Check a savegame” tab and load the savegame’s careerSavegame.xml (in Documents › My Games › FarmingSimulator2025 › savegame1, savegame2…). Add your log.txt too and Holyfix tells you which mods, including the map, you’re missing or have in a different version, with their official download when they’re on Holymod.
Why is my mod ignored even though it’s in the mods folder?
Usually because the .zip name has spaces, brackets or hyphens (for example “FS25_Mod (2).zip” after downloading it twice), because it was unzipped into a folder, or because it’s a Farming Simulator 22 mod. Holyfix flags all three cases.
Why does it say a mod is for another version when it works for me?
We use the version the mod’s author states on its official page. Many mods keep working on newer versions without changes; if it works for you, you can ignore the warning.
One of my mods isn’t recognized. What can I do?
Click “Ask us to review it”. If the mod is legal and has an official source, we add it to Holymod and Holyfix will recognize it from then on.
Is Holyfix free?
Yes, it’s free, with no sign-up and nothing to install.
