Holyfix help for Farming Simulator 22
Is Farming Simulator 22 not loading a mod, freezing while loading your save, or crashing? Run it through Holyfix: load your FS22 log.txt and in a second you’ll see which mods you have installed and active, which ones the game skipped and why (invalid file name, FS19 or FS25 mod, badly unzipped), which mods throw script errors and whether you’re missing a mod or DLC. It’s free and the file never leaves your computer.
How to use Holyfix
View tutorial- Choose your gameAt the top, next to the Holyfix logo, you choose the game. Each game has its own analyzer.
- Find the log fileThe game writes everything that happens while you play to a text file. In FS22 it's called log.txt; Help shows where it is on each system.
- Load it right after the problemDrop it into Holyfix before you open the game again, because it's wiped every time you open it.
- Read the summaryWe tell you in one sentence what's going on and where to start. Your file never leaves your computer.
- Fix the problems one by oneIn Problems, do what “What to do” says for the first one, mark it as done and move on to the next. They're sorted from most to least likely.
- Check the modsIn My mods you see all your mods with their status and a link to their mod page and official download.
- Don't worry about version warningsA mod being marked for another game version isn't always a problem: many work anyway. Only check them if the problem continues.
- Try againOpen the game, repeat what was failing and load the new log to check it's fixed.
- If it still fails, ask for helpShare your diagnosis with a link to ask for help on a forum or on Discord, or press “Holyfix didn't help me” and we'll review it.

Frequently asked questions
Where is the log.txt?
On Windows: Documents › My Games › FarmingSimulator2022 › log.txt. If you use OneDrive, it may be in OneDrive › Documents › My Games › FarmingSimulator2022. The game overwrites it every time it starts, so load it right after the problem, before you launch the game again.
On other systems:
- macOS:
~/Library/Application Support/FarmingSimulator2022/ - OneDrive:
%USERPROFILE%\OneDrive\Documents\My Games\FarmingSimulator2022
What does Holyfix check?
- Mods skipped because of the file name: .zip files with spaces, brackets or dashes, like “FS22_Mod (2).zip” when you download it twice.
- Mods for another version: FS19 (or FS25) mods that FS22 won’t load.
- Badly unzipped mods: folders without a modDesc.xml or a .zip inside another one.
- Dependencies: mods that use files from another mod, a map or a DLC you don’t have.
- Script errors for each mod, and which one is to blame when the log says so.
- Compatibility: it matches your mods with their Holymod pages and tells you what each one needs.

Why doesn’t a mod show up in the game even though it’s in the mods folder?
The most common causes are an invalid file name (with spaces, brackets or dashes), an FS19 or FS25 mod, or a mod unzipped inside another folder. Holyfix tells you which of the three it is.
Can I use FS19 or FS25 mods in FS22?
No. Each Farming Simulator only loads mods made for that version. If Holyfix flags a mod as “for another version”, look for its FS22 version on the ModHub or the author’s page.
Do I need to sort my mods in Farming Simulator 22?
No. FS22 has no load order: just leave each mod as a .zip in the mods folder and enable it in your save.
Does it work on consoles?
No. On PlayStation and Xbox you can’t access log.txt; Holyfix is for the PC version (Steam, Epic or the GIANTS store).
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No. It’s read in your browser. If you allow it, only anonymous statistics are sent (which mods were active and what kind of error they threw), never the file, paths or your personal data.
