0.8 (July 8, 2026)

Community-made cars can now be used in multiplayer, with verification to prevent cheating, and you can create external liveries (tools like LiveryLab EVO take advantage of this). A major VR overhaul, the Kyalami track and three cars: KTM X-Bow GT2, KTM X-Bow GT4 and Volkswagen Golf 8 R.

0.9 (August 26, 2026)

Special events with worldwide leaderboards (Hotlap and Hotstint), mandatory pit stops in multiplayer, a new slick tire model for GT cars and three cars: Audi R8 LMS GT2, Audi R8 V10 performance quattro and Mazda RX-7 FD Spirit R. Kunos clarified that it wouldn’t be the last Early Access version.

Update 0.10 and Free Roam

On September 23, 2026, Kunos announced on its official social channels that the first version of the Eifel Free Roam mode will arrive with 0.10. Little else is known: there’s no date and the map will arrive in parts, so it won’t be complete from the start. Since 2024, Kunos has said the final open world will cover about 1.600 km² of scanned terrain around the Nürburgring and will be released in phases, with businesses where you can rent cars and buy parts.

How many cars and tracks it has now

Kunos doesn’t publish an official total count. Adding up what it announced in each version, EVO has about 69 car models (not counting variants) and 18 tracks, if you count the Nürburgring GP and the Nordschleife separately. Many have several layouts. On top of that, since 0.7 there are community cars built with the SDK; you can manage them with ACE Manager.

1.0 release date

  • On Steam, Kunos wrote at the start of Early Access that it wanted to reach 1.0 in under a year. That deadline has already passed.
  • On September 24, 2026, Digital Bros said in its annual results that the «full release» of Assetto Corsa EVO and Assetto Corsa Rally will come in the second half of its 2026/27 fiscal year: between January and June 2027.
  • Kunos hasn’t given a specific day.

For the full version, Steam mentions the large open world built from real data, buying and customizing cars, more cars from different eras, more tracks and new modes. Digital Bros adds that there will be additional content after 1.0. Console versions are a separate matter; we explain it in Assetto Corsa EVO on PS5 and Xbox.
