What this mod does

Brasov is a recreation of the mountain roads in this part of Romania by SIM TRAXX, built from aerial laser scan references, high-resolution photos and advice from Romanian rally drivers. This is the free Free2Drive edition, and it has a 4.95 rating from 21 reviews and more than 65,000 downloads.

Project details

Development started in 2018 and, according to the author, the budget grew from 4,000 to 15,000 euros. The Free2Drive edition has multiplayer disabled, so it’s single-player only. The author mentioned a version 1.1 with fixes, but the mod page is still on the first version from August 2019.

Tips

SIM TRAXX recommends using it with Content Manager, Custom Shaders Patch and Sol weather. It’s a good pick if you’re looking for European mountain roads for rallying or relaxed driving, not just Japanese touges.

Requirements

• Free OverTake.gg account to download

How to install it

1. Go to the Brasov page on OverTake.gg and log in.
2. Download the file and follow any instructions it includes.
3. Install the track with Content Manager or copy the folder into assettocorsa/content/tracks.
4. Pick Rally 1, Rally 2 or the hill climb.
5. Enable Sol in Content Manager for the weather the author recommends.
