What this mod does
Real Eaton Fuller Transmissions replaces ATS’s generic gearboxes with 30 real Eaton Fuller models, manual and automated. Each one comes with or without a retarder and with 30 axle ratios, for a total of 1,800 options. LoaderSaints has maintained it since 2016; version 26.1.11 is from January 2026 and the author says it’s compatible with ATS 1.50 and later.
Which transmissions it includes
- Long haul: from the 9-speed RT-8709B to the 12-speed EEO-18F112C, Integrated Powertrain and UltraShift LAS.
- Performance: 13- and 18-speed RTLO, 18-speed EXD and UltraShift MHP, LSE and MXP.
- Vocational: transmissions with low gears, such as the RTO-16909ALL or the UltraShift VMS.
The name shows the model, number of speeds, overall ratio and whether it has a retarder (R). Custom shifter templates are available for download.
Compatible trucks
All 17 stock trucks (Cascadia, International, Kenworth, Mack, Peterbilt, Volvo and Western Star) and a long list of mods. Version 26.1.11 added the RT-8709B and support for Smarty’s classics: Paystar 5070, Pacific P-500F, Peterbilt 350 and 351, and Scot A2HD. There’s an optional CAST add-on for more trucks.
Multiplayer
Since version 22.10.4 it’s an optional mod in Convoy. Before removing it, switch back to stock transmissions.

Requirements
- American Truck Simulator 1.50 or later, according to the author
- No DLC
- Optional: CAST add-on for more modded trucks
How to install it
- Open LoaderSaints' thread on the SCS forum and click the Google Drive link for the main file (or subscribe on Steam Workshop).
- Copy the .scs file to Documents/American Truck Simulator/mod.
- Enable the mod in the Mod Manager (the thread doesn't specify a load order).
- At the service shop, choose the transmission and axle ratio; a trailing R means it has a retarder.
- Before disabling it, switch back to stock transmissions to avoid errors.
