What this mod does
Volkswagen Parati 1994 comes to American Truck Simulator from Cristhian Cardoso, the Brazilian modder who already had it in Euro Truck Simulator 2. It’s the station wagon version of the Gol that Volkswagen do Brasil built from 1982 to 2012; in Argentina it was sold as the Gol Country from 1995. It was released in late September 2026 and already has more than 5,000 subscribers.
What it offers
- AP 1800 (GL) and AP 1800S (GLS) engines, turbo versions of both, and a forged AP 2000 turbo.
- Five-speed manual transmissions and front-wheel drive.
- Suspension, engine and transmission tuned for more realistic handling without touching the game’s physics file.
- Steel wheels and the Quality3D CL wheel.
Where to buy it
It shows up at the mod dealer and at the Road Trip dealer, so you can use it in the car road trip mode. One player says in the comments that they use it exclusively in that mode.
Version and credits
The author marks it as compatible with ATS 1.61 and 1.62; the latest update is from October 11, 2026. 3D model by Jorge Henrique Affonso, conversion, paint jobs and tuning by Cristhian Cardoso, and sound by the FMOD team with Cristhian. He asks that you respect the credits.

Does it change the game's physics?
No: the author tuned the car's suspension, engine and transmission without modifying physics.sii.
