What this mod does
Bussbygg by Kast brings the range of boxes and trailers from coachbuilder Bussbygg to ETS2. It’s a standalone mod by Kast, who also made the NTM trailers and the Rigid chassis addon, with contributions from Ogentor, Csabee and Daniminho.
What’s included
- Regular and stepframe (low-deck) semi-trailers, full trailers and center-axle trailers.
- Citymax, Euromax, Thermomax and Volumax boxes.
- Trailer-Bygg, HFR and Parator trailer chassis.
- Rigid truck bodies for 3900, 4100, 4300 and 4700 mm wheelbases.
Trucks compatible with the body
The body fits RJL’s Scanias, Eugene’s Scania 2016, johnny244’s Volvo FH3, SCS’s Volvo FH4, FH5 and FH6, the Renault T, Krille’s Renault AE, the DAF 2021 and XD, the MAN TGX Euro 6 and 2020, Gloover’s MAN TGX Euro 6, the Iveco S-Way and Krille’s Valor F-Series. Kast warns that these trucks need their rigid chassis addon, such as Kast’s Rigid chassis addon.
Version and extras
v1.3 (June 15, 2026) adds accessory slots for marker lights and upper rear lights, and works on ETS2 1.57 to 1.60; an older version is still available for 1.55 and 1.56. The paint job templates and a Tyllis dolly for semi-trailers, which requires Ekeri Trailers Revision, are downloaded separately.

Requirements
- Euro Truck Simulator 2 1.57 to 1.60 (an older version for 1.55-1.56 is in the same thread)
- For the truck-mounted body: the rigid chassis addon for the truck you use
- For the Tyllis dolly: Kast's Ekeri Trailers Revision
How to install it
- Open Kast's official thread on the SCS forum and click the Bussbygg by Kast download link (plus the templates or the Tyllis dolly, if you want them).
- On Sharemods, download the .scs file.
- Copy the .scs file to Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod.
- If you're going to mount the body on a truck, also install that truck's rigid chassis addon.
- Open the Mod Manager, activate Bussbygg by Kast and load your profile.

Common problems
Does it work on ETS2 1.61?
The first post lists 1.57 to 1.60 for v1.3; 1.61 isn't confirmed.
Does it work for rigid trucks?
Yes. It includes bodies for 3900 to 4700 mm chassis, but each truck needs its rigid chassis addon.
What do I need for the Tyllis dolly?
It's a separate addon and requires Kast's Ekeri Trailers Revision.
Is there a version for older game versions?
Yes, the thread keeps a download for 1.55 and 1.56.
