What this mod does
Used Trailers at Dealership is an experiment by Gelex that brings ETS2 something the game doesn’t have: a used trailer market. It’s built on top of Smaen’s Krone Profi Liner S3 Revived, with his permission, and adds used units ready to buy to the trailer dealer.
Two standalone versions
- Full (used market + matte fix): predefined Krone S3 trailers with varied mileage, price, repairable and permanent wear, equipment and fleet liveries, rated with stars based on their condition. After buying them you can modify them at the service shop.
- Matte fix only: reduces the reflections on the curtain, front wall and rear doors so the dirt textures show. It doesn’t change the model or the paint jobs.
The full version already includes the fix, so you don’t need to install both.
Requirements and limitations
You need Smaen’s Krone Profi Liner S3 Revived and, for the full version, Gelex’s own Krone Revised Realistic Skinpack, because the used trailers carry its fleet liveries. The selection is fixed and doesn’t change over time; the author is looking into a plugin that would refresh it when the game starts.
Version
It’s a first public release marked as WIP for ETS2 1.60, published on August 12, 2026. Gelex wants to extend the idea to other trailers with their authors’ permission.

How to install it
- First install Smaen's Krone Profi Liner S3 Revived from its official thread on the SCS forum.
- Open Gelex's thread and download the full version (Used Krone S3) and the Krone Revised Realistic Skinpack, or just the matte fix if you don't want used trailers.
- Copy the files to Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod.
- Activate the mods in the Mod Manager following the load order the author posts in the thread.
- Go to a trailer dealer and look for the used Krone S3s.

Common problems
Do I need to install the matte fix as well as the full version?
No. The full version already includes it.
Do the used trailers change over time?
No. The selection is fixed; the author is considering a future plugin to refresh it.
Does it work without Smaen's mod?
No. It depends on the Krone Profi Liner S3 Revived, and it's made with that author's permission.
