What this mod does
Realistic AI Traffic Pack, by Gelex, doesn’t add new models: it paints the AI trucks, trailers and coaches with liveries and groups them into combinations that look like what you’d see on a European highway. In just a few months it has passed 150,000 subscribers.
What’s included
- Liveries for trucks, curtainsider trailers, reefers, tippers, tankers and coaches.
- Several hundred truck-trailer combinations, with and without company branding.
- Trucks with emissions stickers and «Angles Morts» blind-spot warnings, like the ones required in France.
- Spawn rates tuned to the most common combinations and a better color distribution, with white as the most frequent.
Load order
Place it right below traffic density mods such as Real Traffic Density or Brutal Traffic. The author designed it to work alongside other traffic mods that change density or add vehicles.
Version
It’s a first version: it was released on April 24, 2026 and updated on May 25, with 1.59. The author doesn’t state a game version. He’s announced more combinations, regional sets, tuning options and new models, and asks you to let him know if you notice FPS drops. Keep in mind the download is around 650 MB.

How to install it
- Open the "Realistic AI Traffic Pack" page on Steam Workshop and click "Subscribe".
- Launch Euro Truck Simulator 2 and wait for Steam to download the roughly 650 MB.
- In the Mod Manager, place it right below your traffic density mod (Real Traffic Density, Brutal Traffic…).
- Load your save and drive on the highway to see the new combinations.
- If you notice FPS drops, let the author know on the Workshop.

Not for now. It paints traffic vehicles with liveries; new models are something the author has planned.
