[Cargoes] Compressed Helium (compressed helium cargo for the gooseneck trailer) for Euro Truck Simulator 2

What this mod does

[Cargoes] Compressed Helium is a mod by SASq for Euro Truck Simulator 2 that adds a compressed helium (He) cargo for the SCS gooseneck trailer. It works as a standalone trailer and shows up in regular jobs.

Cargo specs

• Mass: 16,000 kg (16 t).
• Four tubes in a 4×2 layout.
• Tube length: 9 m.
• Tube diameter: 51 cm.

To find it among the trailers, look for the SCS gooseneck section (tn_scs_gooseneck). You may need to rest several times before the cargo appears in the job list.

Version and maintenance

SASq released it on March 13, 2021, and still updates it: he brought it up to date for 1.57 on December 28, 2025, and for 1.58 on February 16, 2026. In 2023 he fixed a game crash caused by an SCS change to a UI path. The description says “1.39.* or higher”, and the author explained in 2024 that this means it works with the latest game version.

It’s part of his “Trailers / Cargoes” and “Gooseneck Pack” collections, with other similar cargoes, like hydrogen or compressed natural gas. The author forbids reuploading it or editing it to republish.

Requirements

• Euro Truck Simulator 2 (the author updated it for 1.58)
• No DLC or other mods required
• Steam account

How to install it

1. Open the “[Cargoes] Compressed Helium” page on Steam Workshop and click “Subscribe”.
2. Wait for Steam to finish the download (about 107 MB).
3. Launch ETS2, open the Mod Manager and enable the mod.
4. Load your save and rest several times if the cargo doesn't show up.
5. Look for “Compressed Helium” in the freight market.
