What this mod does
DAF 2021 Improved Dashboard, by Knights Gaming (made by KnightRider), improves the instrument cluster and display of the new-generation DAFs in Euro Truck Simulator 2. It has almost 68,000 subscribers.
Models
It works with SCS’s DAF XD, XF, XG and XG+. In 2024 the author said that, for now, it isn’t compatible with Jasper’s DAF.
What it adds
- Remaining fuel and estimated range.
- Oil and turbo temperature and pressure gauges.
- Cruise control speed and tolerance.
- A reorganized media screen, with GPS pages showing the passenger-side MirrorCam.
- A new «Always On Display» page.
To turn down the blind spot warning, the author suggests the Silent Alert mod or a Paccar MX-13 engine sound mod.
Version and reported issues
Version 1.5 is from July 12, 2026, and the author doesn’t state a game version. Since that version, one user says the GPS is off-center and another misses the stock engine brake icon. It has 439 ratings on Steam Workshop and weighs only 242 KB.

How to install it
- Open the “DAF 2021 Improved Dashboard” page on Steam Workshop and click “Subscribe”.
- Wait for Steam to finish the download.
- Launch ETS2, open the Mod Manager and enable the mod.
- Load your save and drive a compatible DAF: the improved dashboard shows up automatically.
