What this mod does

MAN TGX 2020 Improved Dashboard is a mod by Knights Gaming (KnightRider and AMYLECH) that expands the information on the instrument cluster and infotainment system of the MAN TGX 2020 that comes with Euro Truck Simulator 2. It’s from the same authors as Scania NG Improved Dashboard.

What it adds

  • Left and right blind spot indicators.
  • Remaining fuel and AdBlue in percent.
  • Trip odometer on the main screen and fuel used since the last trip computer reset.
  • Estimated time of arrival and time until the next rest stop; these hide when there’s no data or fatigue is turned off.
  • Turbo gauge and compass on the GPS screen.
  • Easier-to-read speed limit on the GPS and the cluster, plus a redesigned gear indicator.
  • A MirrorCam system and an «Always On Display» page on the infotainment screen.

Version

Version 2.1, released September 17, 2026, expands the MirrorCam and «added full support 1.61 update», according to the page’s changelog. It only affects the SCS MAN TGX 2020; no DLC needed.

Known issues

Some players ask how to switch from miles to metric units and the page doesn’t explain it. They also report that the rest indicator doesn’t update if you turn off mandatory rest but keep fatigue on.

How to install it

  1. Open the mod page on Steam Workshop and click "Subscribe".
  2. Wait for Steam to finish downloading.
  3. Launch ETS2 and open the Mod Manager.
  4. Enable "MAN TGX 2020 Improved Dashboard" and confirm the changes.
  5. Load your save with a MAN TGX 2020.
  6. Use the trip computer buttons to cycle through the new cluster and infotainment pages.
