Latin America maps for ETS2: Argentina, Peru and Mexico

Latin America maps for ETS2 1.61: Panamerica Map (Argentine Patagonia) and Peru Roads, with DLCs and versions. Why Mexico and Colombia are ATS-only.

Updated: 23 Oct 2026

There are two Latin America maps for ETS2 that work on version 1.61, and both are free: Panamerica Map, which adds Argentine Patagonia (Puerto Madryn, Trelew and Rawson) and connects to Europe by ferry, and Peru Roads, a standalone map of Peru with Nazca, Ica, Jauja and Chancay. Mexico doesn’t exist in Euro Truck Simulator 2: you play it in American Truck Simulator with the Reforma map, and Colombia, also in ATS, with Mapkalo. SCS doesn’t sell any South America DLC for ETS2. Below you’ll find versions, required DLCs and how to install each one, with data updated on October 22, 2026.

Panamerica Map: Argentine Patagonia in ETS2

Panamerica Map, by Peralta Mods, aims to bring South America to ETS2, but for now it’s in beta. Only the northeast of Chubut province, in Argentina, is playable: Puerto Madryn, Trelew and Rawson, with steppe, national highways and big gas stations with rest areas. The other countries you see on the map are future expansions that don’t exist yet. It was released on September 19, 2026 and has more than 2,800 downloads on TruckyMods.

How to get to Argentina

Right now, by the Valencia–Rawson ferry. Valencia is in the Iberia DLC, so you absolutely need it. The author warns that this ferry causes problems on very long deliveries because of the game’s delivery-time and ferry limits. To replace it, the author is building the Santos–Chubut road (BR-101, BR-277, RN14 and RN3), from Santos (Brazil) to Puerto Madryn, with a 30-hour Europoort–Santos ferry. That road is still in development.

Requirements and version

  • DLCs: all ten map DLCs: Going East!, Scandinavia, Vive la France !, Italia, Beyond the Baltic Sea, Road to the Black Sea, Iberia, West Balkans, Greece and Nordic Horizons.
  • World map background: the author asks for one that shows the region, without saying which.
  • Map combos: it’s compatible with map combos according to the author. If you play with EAA Rescaled, you need a separate patch by Salty Leob.
  • Version: b1.4 (October 6, 2026) is for ETS2 1.61. The author released it as an emergency version in case they can’t update after 1.62, so it may break on the next game version.

Peru Roads: Peru as a standalone map

Peru Roads, by Danifox, takes ETS2 to the roads of Peru: desert coast and highlands, with Nazca and the area around its lines, Ica, Jauja, Casma and a rebuilt Chancay with its megaport. The author plans to expand south toward Camaná, north toward Chimbote and east toward Huancayo. It has almost 20,000 downloads on TruckyMods.

It’s a standalone map: it doesn’t connect to Europe, so you can’t drive there from Spain. You play it on a new profile by choosing the peru.mdb map module. Even so, it requires six DLCs: Going East!, Scandinavia, Vive la France !, Italia, Beyond the Baltic Sea and Road to the Black Sea. Version 0.8.14 (September 19, 2026) is for ETS2 1.61 and removed the old bus system while waiting for SCS’s official coach DLC. Don’t mix it with large maps like ProMods.

Panamerica Map or Peru Roads?

It depends on how you like to play. Panamerica is for players who want to keep their European save and add a destination across the Atlantic: you arrive by ferry from Valencia and head back to Europe with loads, although for now the playable area is small and the map has known distortions. Peru Roads is a world of its own: you start from scratch in Peru, with more finished cities and coastal and highland roads, but no connection to the rest of the game. Since one runs on your European profile and the other on its own profile, you can keep both in your mod folder and enable each one only on its profile.

What about Mexico? It’s in American Truck Simulator

Lots of people search for «Mexico map for ETS2», but there’s no playable Mexico map in Euro Truck Simulator 2. Mexico is south of the United States, which is why Mexican maps are made for American Truck Simulator. The go-to one is Reforma, by Team Reforma, a Spanish-speaking team: version 3.0.1.161 for ATS 1.61 covers a good part of the country, with Puerto Vallarta, Monclova, Piedras Negras and Nuevo Laredo, and border crossings with California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas. Some reupload sites post it in their ETS2 section, but it’s the same ATS map and it doesn’t work in Euro Truck Simulator 2.

If you want to drive in Mexico, you need ATS, the state DLCs Reforma requires and the Reforma Mega Resources package. We explain it in the American Truck Simulator Mexico guide.

Colombia, Brazil, Chile and the rest

For Colombia, the map is Mapkalo, by Kaloma Restrepo, and it’s also for ATS: it replaces the United States with Colombian roads, including very demanding mountain stretches. It downloads as seven files from its official website and you play it on its own profile. On Holymod we don’t yet have maps of Brazil, Chile, Colombia or Central America for ETS2 that we can recommend with an official source and a 1.61 version. Panamerica Map has other South American countries on its roadmap, but for now only Chubut exists.

How to give ETS2 a Latin vibe without changing maps

Even if you drive in Europe, there are South American mods with an official source that fit really well with Panamerica or Peru Roads:

Buses have their own guide: the Coaches DLC and buses in ETS2.

Before installing a Latin American map

  1. Check your DLCs. Panamerica requires all ten map DLCs and Peru Roads six. They’re all in the ETS2 DLC list, and Iberia has its own guide.
  2. Use the right version. Both are made for 1.61. If SCS releases 1.62, wait for their authors to update them.
  3. Download only from the official source. Both are published on TruckyMods, on their authors’ accounts.
  4. Pick the profile. Peru Roads needs a new profile with peru.mdb. Panamerica is added to the Europe map, but it’s a good idea to test it on a copy of your profile because it’s a beta.
  5. Copy and enable. The .scs files go in Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod and you enable them in the Mod Manager. If it’s your first time, follow the guide to installing mods in ETS2.
