What this mod does
The Volvo NL12 EDC is one of Volvo’s best-remembered long-nose trucks, very popular in Brazil during the ’90s. This free mod by Cristhian Cardoso adds it to Euro Truck Simulator 2 as a standalone truck, without touching the game’s Volvo FH models.
What’s included
- 4×2, 6×2 and 6×4 chassis.
- 360, 410, 460 and 500 hp engines.
- Available at the Volvo dealer, the used vehicle dealer and the mod store.
- A skin edit file on the author’s website to create your own paint jobs.
Who it’s for
For anyone who prefers long-nose trucks and a classic look, or wants a Volvo other than the FH for their company. With the 6×4 and the 500 hp engine, you can also haul heavy loads with it.

The author’s website lists it as compatible from 1.51 to 1.61. The credits name LS Mods and Cristhian Cardoso. We recommend installing it from Steam Workshop, which is where the author publishes and updates it; his website also offers a manual download on ShareMods.

How to install it
- Go to the mod's Steam Workshop page and click 'Subscribe'.
- Open ETS2 and go to the Mod Manager.
- Activate 'Volvo NL12 EDC' and confirm.

- Choose the chassis (4x2, 6x2 or 6x4) and engine before buying it.

No. It's a separate (standalone) truck added to the game's Volvos.
