What this mod does
BDF Tandem Truck Pack is one of the longest-running truck mods for Euro Truck Simulator 2. It doesn’t add a new model: it expands SCS’s original trucks with rigid chassis that carry their own cargo body (the BDF swap body system) and can pull a trailer, the combination known as a tandem.
What’s included
- New chassis for 17 of the game’s trucks: Volvo FH, Scania R, S and Streamline, MAN TGX, DAF XF, Mercedes-Benz Actros, Iveco Stralis and Renault Premium, Magnum and T, among others.
- More than 120 chassis configurations (from 4×2 to 10×4), with about 310 bodies: refrigerated, curtainsider, container, tanker, logs, tipper and flatbed.
- Drawbar trailers and 2- to 4-axle tandem trailers, plus invisible trailers for driving with just the truck.
- Side skirts, exhausts and accessories for each chassis.
How to use it
The original trucks aren’t replaced. You buy the regular truck at the dealer and, at the service shop, swap the chassis for one of the BDF versions. From there you take jobs compatible with your body and trailer.
Version
Version 161.00 adapts the mod to the 1.61 structure and includes a fix for Scania. Older versions are still available on the author’s website for saves on earlier game versions.

Requirements
- Euro Truck Simulator 2 version 1.61 or later
- No DLC needed
How to install it
- Subscribe on Steam Workshop or download the dd_tandem_truck_pack.scs file from the author's website.
- If you download it from the website, copy the file to Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod.
- Enable the mod in your profile's Mod Manager.
- Buy one of the compatible original trucks at its dealer.
- At the service shop, go to Chassis and pick one of the BDF configurations with the body you want.
- Look for jobs compatible with your truck and trailer combination.

Common problems
I can't find new trucks at the dealer
The mod doesn't create new models: it adds chassis to the original trucks. Buy the truck and change the chassis at the service shop.
Does it replace the game's trucks?
No, the BDF chassis are added alongside the originals.
I play on a version older than 1.61
The author's website has older versions of the pack for earlier game versions.
