Adds swap body carrier chassis based on real systems to 19 trucks. It needs the Krone Trailer Pack DLC and two mods by the same author. Tested on ETS2 1.61.

What this mod does
Demountable boxes, or swap bodies, are very common in European logistics: the truck carries its own box on the chassis and can drop it off and pick it up without a semi-trailer. This pack by Sebastian7870 adds swap body carrier chassis to many of the game’s trucks, based on real systems from manufacturers such as SAXAS, Brandl and SDG Modultechnik.

- Mercedes-Benz Actros 2014.
- MAN TGX Euro 5, Euro 6 and TGX 2020.
- Scania R 2009, Streamline and Next Gen R and S.
- DAF XF Euro 6, XF 2021 and XG/XG+.
- IVECO S-Way.
- Volvo FH4, FH5 and FH6.
- Some modded trucks, such as the Actros 2019, the MAN TGX E6 and the New Actros.
How it works
The box is fitted at the service shop. Above the swap body upgrade slot there’s another one where you can add cargo models as an accessory. The author also includes an experimental invisible trailer option so you can do jobs with the rigid truck alone.
Requirements
You need the Krone Trailer Pack DLC and two mods by the same author that you subscribe to separately: Krone Swap Body Pack, with the box models, and Krone Profi Box Carrier Pack, with the swap body carrier trailers. All three are marked as tested on 1.61. There are optional add-ons for compatibility with the tuning DLCs.

How to install it
- Make sure you own the Krone Trailer Pack DLC.
- On Steam Workshop, subscribe to Krone Swap Body Pack, Krone Profi Box Carrier Pack and Swap Body Carrier Chassis Pack.
- Enable all three in the Mod Manager, following the priority order the author recommends on their page.
- Load your save and go to a service shop with a compatible truck.
- Choose the swap body carrier chassis and, in the upper upgrade slot, the cargo model.

Common problems
Why don't the boxes show up?
You need the Krone Swap Body Pack mod enabled and the Krone Trailer Pack DLC. Without them the chassis doesn't work properly.
Does it work with my truck?
Only with the 19 models on the list, including SCS trucks from all seven European brands and some modded trucks.
Can I do jobs without a trailer?
The author includes an experimental invisible trailer option for that, warning that it's a workaround due to game engine limitations.
