What this mod does
The Niccoló New Isidro 3 is a double-decker long-distance coach built by Argentine bodybuilder Niccoló. The ARBus Mods team recreated it for Euro Truck Simulator 2 with its own 3D model, made from scratch, and releases it for free under a non-commercial Creative Commons license.
What’s included
- Three chassis options: Mercedes-Benz O500RSD (with an optional steerable third axle), Scania K440 and Scania K450.
- More than 60 paint jobs of Argentine companies in 8K, contributed by the community.
- Animated doors and luggage bays, a detailed interior, custom sound and more than 30 destination signs.
- Engine and gearbox data tuned to the real vehicle.
How a bus works in ETS2
Euro Truck Simulator 2 doesn’t have an official bus mode yet: SCS has announced the Coaches DLC, with stops and passengers, but there’s no release date. With this mod, you buy the coach at the dealer, in the section for brands added by mods, and drive it within the game’s regular truck system. The mod doesn’t add passenger transport.
Who it’s for
It’s ideal if you like long-haul coaches and want something different from European trucks. The destination signs are designed for the Argentine map Mapa Ceibo, which is optional and needs its own map DLC. There’s a Lite version with lighter textures for modest PCs or multiplayer sessions.

V3.4.2, from September 20, 2026, adds compatibility with ETS2 1.61.

Requirements
- Euro Truck Simulator 2 version 1.61
- Have finished the tutorial and the first delivery so you can buy vehicles
- Optional: Mapa Ceibo to use the Argentine destination signs (requires map DLC)
How to install it
- Open ARBus Mods' official thread on the SCS forum and download the 1.61 version from its link (ModsFire) or from its TruckyMods page.
- Extract the .scs file from the archive and copy it into Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod.
- Open the game, go to the Mod Manager and enable the Niccoló New Isidro 3.
- If you use the mod's skin-edit, give it the highest priority in the list.
- In the game, go to Services > Buy Trucks > Mod Brands and choose the Niccoló New Isidro 3.
- When configuring it, choose the paint job first: the mod adjusts the chassis, sensors and signs based on the paint you pick.

Common problems
Can I carry passengers?
No. ETS2 doesn't have an official bus mode yet. The coach is driven within the truck system and the mod doesn't add passenger transport.
I'm coming from V1 or V2 and having problems
The manual asks you to sell the bus in the game before installing the new version, because there have been major changes.
Does it work in multiplayer?
The author says it's optimized for multiplayer and marked as optional for Convoy sessions. There's a Lite version for modest PCs or busy sessions.
Do I need the Argentina map?
No. Mapa Ceibo is just a recommendation to make the most of the destination signs.
