What this mod does
The Caio Apache Vip V is the fifth generation of the city bus from Brazilian coachbuilder Caio. This mod by Carlos Daniel brings it to Euro Truck Simulator 2 as a drivable vehicle, with lots of chassis and paint variants.
What’s included
- 20 different chassis.
- 46 paint jobs for the standard version and 27 for the midi, plus 5 editable paint jobs in 2K, 4K and 8K.
- Over 48 optional extras.
- Custom suspension and wheel-turning physics, exclusive rims and sounds for each chassis.
- Custom interior with animations, plus custom engines and transmissions.
- AI traffic version.
Game version
The author maintains one file for 1.61 and later and another for 1.60 or earlier. The latest Steam Workshop update is from September 17, 2026.
Known issues
One user spotted an inverted damping setting on the air suspension, and the author has said he’ll improve the chassis physics. Several players ask where to buy it because it doesn’t show up at the mod dealer, and the page doesn’t clarify this. The author asks you to report any bugs in the comments.

How to install it
- Open the mod's Steam Workshop page and click "Subscribe".
- Wait for Steam to finish downloading.
- Launch ETS2 and open the Mod Manager.
- Enable "Caio Apache Vip V Multi-Chassis" and load your save.
- Find the bus to buy it and pick the chassis and paint job in the configuration.
