What this mod does
Solaris Urbino III 12 BVG makes a 12-meter low-floor city bus drivable, in the livery of BVG, Berlin’s transit company. Domcek, Etrusan and Baldy09 have maintained it since 2019, and it has more than 160,000 subscribers on Steam Workshop. Version 2.0.23.59, from June 4, 2026, adds support for ETS2 1.60.
What’s included
- A fully drivable bus that you buy like any other vehicle.
- Works with both DirectX 11 and OpenGL.
- It doesn’t appear in traffic: it’s player-only.
Essential requirement
You also need to subscribe to DBus Vehicles Shared assets, the shared resource package for the same team’s buses. Without it, the bus won’t load properly.
Origin of the model
The 3D model is the work of alterr, who created it for OMSI 2 and released it with permission to modify and reuse it as long as he’s credited. The team adapted it to ETS2 and credits him in the description.
Who it’s for
For anyone who wants to run city routes through ETS2’s cities. If you want passengers, combine it with a passenger mod like Passenger mod. The authors have no plans to release other variants, such as the three-door one.

How to install it
- Subscribe to DBus Vehicles Shared assets on Steam Workshop.
- Subscribe to the Solaris Urbino III 12 BVG.
- In the Mod Manager, enable both and place the bus above the shared assets.
- Find the bus at the dealer or vehicle store and buy it.
- If you want to run services with riders, add a passenger mod.

Does it work without DBus Vehicles Shared assets?
No. It's a mandatory requirement listed on the Steam page itself.
Is it on 1.61?
The latest change note (June 4, 2026) adds support for 1.60. So far the team has updated the mod with every game version.
Does it appear in traffic?
No. The authors say it's drivable by the player only.
Is there a three-door version?
The authors say they have no plans to make other variants.
