Real life currency exchange ratio (ETS2) for Euro Truck Simulator 2

What this mod does

Real life currency exchange ratio lets you play Euro Truck Simulator 2 in Latin American currencies at the real exchange rate: Mexican peso (MXN), Argentine peso (ARS), Brazilian real (BRL), Chilean peso (CLP), Colombian peso (COP) and Peruvian sol (PEN). Its author, kworey, updates it every Monday at 00:00 UTC; as of October 22, 2026, it uses the rates from October 19.

What it changes

• Recalculates the conversion from the euro, the game’s base currency.
• Adds dozens of currencies: European ones, the ATS ones (USD, CAD and MXN), Latin American, Asian and even BTC and ETH.
• It doesn’t touch salaries, freight rates or prices: only how they’re shown in your currency.

Compatibility

It goes at the very top of the load order and can be used in Convoy as an optional mod. It’s incompatible with other economy mods, such as Real Economy Reloaded, unless they include its economy_currencies.kworey.sii file. There’s a separate version for ProMods, and one user warns that the Icelandic króna only works with that map.

For Latin American players

If you play the Panamerica Map or Peru Roads, seeing your pay in pesos or soles helps with immersion. The American Truck Simulator version has its own page.

Requirements

• Euro Truck Simulator 2 (updated in October 2026, 1.61 era)
• No other economy mods, unless they include the author's file

How to install it

1. Open the mod's page on Steam Workshop and click Subscribe (if you play ProMods, use its separate version).
2. Launch ETS2, enable the mod in the Mod Manager and move it to the very top.
3. In the game options, choose your currency (MXN, ARS, BRL, CLP, COP or PEN).
4. Let Steam keep it updated: the exchange rate is refreshed every Monday.
