What this mod does
Empty Europe is a tool by HamzaB67 that does exactly what it says: it empties every sector of Europe, including those from all the map DLCs. Wanting an empty map sounds odd, but it has two very clear uses, which is why it has more than 4,500 downloads on TruckyMods.
What it’s for
- Playing only on another map: if you want to drive just a standalone map (from another continent or a fictional one) without SCS’s Europe loaded underneath.
- Map editor: it works as an empty base for working on the europe.mbd module.
- It even removes small leftover roads in the Greece DLC.
Version and compatibility
Since version 1.5 it no longer depends on a specific game version, which is why it’s listed as compatible with all of them. Version 1.7, from January 25, 2026, also empties the Nordic Horizons sectors. If SCS releases a new map DLC, check that it’s already covered.
Load order and warnings
It goes at the bottom of the Mod Manager list. The author advises against using it with maps whose sectors are all inside Europe, because it would leave them without terrain. Don’t enable it on your regular ProMods or base map profile: it’s meant for separate profiles. Support is provided on the author’s Discord.

Requirements

How to install it
- Create a separate profile so you don't break your usual save.
- Download version 1.7 from TruckyMods (HamzaB67's verified account).
- Copy the file to Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod.
- Place it at the bottom of the Mod Manager, below your maps.
- Load the standalone map you want to play or open the editor.
