What this mod does
SG Türk Lirası Gerçekçi Ekonomi, by KORUGE, switches the whole ETS2 economy to Turkish lira (TRY). It’s not just a currency swap: the author recalculated twelve areas of the economy from real-world sources and rewrote more than 48,000 prices, 413 cargo types, diesel prices for 36 countries and 129 ferry routes.
What changes
- The lira becomes the base currency: 1 EUR = 56.16 TL (exchange rate from August 26, 2026).
- Trucks calibrated against a Mercedes-Benz Türk price list from February 2026; your first garage costs 10.1 million TL.
- Freight rates of around 70 TL/km for a full truckload: fuel eats up about 50% of what you earn.
- Fourteen fines based on articles of the Turkish traffic code: 5,000 TL for running a red light and 6,000 to 30,000 TL for speeding.
Who it’s for
For players who want a demanding save: the author made it harder on purpose, with tight margins and trucks bought on credit. It doesn’t touch models, physics, maps or the UI.
Compatibility
It’s made for ETS2 1.60 and covers all official DLC. Don’t combine it with other economy or currency mods, such as Realistic Economy ETS2. Modded trucks priced in euros need a patch, which the author publishes on GitHub.

How to install it
- Open the "SG Türk Lirası Gerçekçi Ekonomi" page on Steam Workshop and click "Subscribe".
- Launch Euro Truck Simulator 2 and wait for Steam to download the mod.
- Enable the mod in your profile's Mod Manager.
- Disable any other economy or currency mod.
- If you use modded trucks priced in euros, download their patch from the author's GitHub.

Common problems
Will I earn more money with this mod?
No. The author made the economy harder on purpose: tight margins and trucks on credit.
Does it work on 1.61?
The author lists it for 1.60 and doesn't confirm 1.61.
Do I need all the DLC?
No. It covers all official DLC, but the files for DLC you don't own simply aren't used.
What about modded trucks?
The ones that keep euro prices need a patch; the author publishes them on GitHub and takes requests in the comments.
