What this mod does
DAF NGD Dashboard Add-on is a mod by Dacova Modding that adds its own screen to the digital dashboard of SCS’s DAF New Generation (NGD) in Euro Truck Simulator 2 1.61. It doesn’t replace anything: it keeps the seven original pages and the speed and RPM gauges, and adds one more page.
What the new screen shows
- Large speed readout and the road’s speed limit.
- Trip distance.
- Average and instant fuel consumption.
- Cruise control status.
- Rest time and clock.
- Gearbox mode (automatic or manual).
- Diesel and AdBlue bars.
- Engine brake indicator and subtle blind-spot warnings, depending on the truck’s equipment.
How to see it
Enable the mod and cycle through the dashboard pages until you reach the Dacova one. It’s optional in Convoy.
Compatibility
Avoid other mods that change the same dashboard. For now it’s only for the DAF NGD; players have asked for the DAF XD and the Volvo FH3, and the author says other models will follow. One user mentions that the clock doesn’t always show in 24-hour format. Dacova also publishes Real Icons for ATS.
Unofficial fan-made mod. Names, logos and liveries belong to their respective owners; neither the author nor Holymod is affiliated with them.

How to install it
- Open the "DAF NGD Dashboard Add-on 1.00 — DACOVA MODDING" page on Steam Workshop and click "Subscribe".
- Launch Euro Truck Simulator 2 and wait for Steam to finish downloading the mod.
- Open the Mod Manager for your profile and enable "DAF NGD Dashboard Add-on 1.00 — DACOVA MODDING".
- Disable other mods that change the DAF NGD dashboard.
- In the truck, cycle through the dashboard pages until you reach the Dacova screen.

Common problems
Does it remove the original screens?
No. It keeps SCS's seven pages and adds one more.
Does it work on the DAF XD?
Not yet; only on the DAF NGD. The author says they'll add other models.
Does it work in Convoy?
Yes, it's optional in Convoy according to the author.
