What this mod does
Danilson Mod is a simulation mod by Daniel Petkov that changes several core systems in Euro Truck Simulator 2 so your career feels more like a real trucker’s job. It’s been updated since December 2022 and now has more than a hundred versions.
What it changes
- A balanced economic model, with realistic net profits on long hauls of about 4,000 km.
- More realistic damage and wear for heavy trucks and tires.
- Adjusted bank and loan options.
- A rebalanced share of traffic trailers across the official DLC categories.
- Updated exchange rates and diesel prices.
Requirements
The page lists six DLCs: Italia, Scandinavia and the Krone, Schwarzmüller, Tirsan and Kässbohrer trailer packs.
Version
Version 1.61.1, released September 30, 2026, is marked for ETS2 1.61 and updates traffic data, density, exchange rates and diesel prices. Version 1.61, from September 19, was the update for the 1.61 patch.
Before you use it
Since it touches the economy and damage, use it in single-player only and back up your profile first. The author doesn’t allow reuploading it to other sites or modifying it.

How to install it
- Open the mod page on TruckyMods (Daniel Petkov's verified account).
- Download version 1.61.1.
- Back up your profile.
- Copy the .scs file to Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod.
- Enable it in the Mod Manager and start your save in single-player.
