What this mod does
Kelsa LED Illuminated Nameboards, by obelihnio, adds four illuminated box-style LED nameboards from the Kelsa brand to Euro Truck Simulator 2. They’re standalone and only need the truck to have a lightbar slot. It has over 52,000 subscribers.
Models
- Slanted nameboard in three widths: 900, 1,050 and 1,250 mm, each with its own logo texture.
- 650 mm rectangular nameboard.
- Metal and paintable-body variants.
Customizing the nameboard
The paintable variant doesn’t pick up the truck’s color: you have to paint the box using the template. The author links templates with instructions and the folder structure already set up for version 1.40 and later. He also offers an old template that shouldn’t be used from 1.40 onward; if you use it on older versions, it goes above the mod in the Mod Manager.
The author asks people not to request lightbar slots for modded trucks that don’t have them.
Version
The description lists versions 1.51 to 1.57, and the last update is from November 23, 2025. It’s by the same author as the Kelsa Lightbars for the DAF XF.

How to install it
- Open the “Kelsa LED Illuminated Nameboards” page on Steam Workshop and click “Subscribe”.
- Wait for Steam to finish the download.
- Launch ETS2, open the Mod Manager and enable the mod.
- Go to the service shop and fit the nameboard in the lightbar slot.
- If you want your own text, edit the template the author links.
Common problems
I can't find the nameboard
It only shows up if your truck has a lightbar slot.
Does it pick up the truck's color?
No: the paintable variant is painted with the included template.
Which template should I use?
The one for version 1.40 and later; the old one doesn't work from 1.40 onward.
