What this mod does
This mod brings the current-generation Land Rover Defender 110 (code L663, 2023 version) to Euro Truck Simulator 2 as a drivable car. It’s one of Nimit’s cars with the most service shop options, so you can keep it stock or kit it out with an expedition look.
What’s included
- Good-quality exterior and interior and its own digital dashboard (some of the extra info works and some doesn’t, according to the author).
- Realistically set-up engine and transmission, and comfortable handling.
- Working front windows.
- Extensive customization: interior colors, hood types, side moldings, roof, bumper and front grilles, wheels, pillars and roof box.
- Adventure accessories: snorkel, toolbox and ladder.
Who it’s for
For anyone who wants an off-roader with personality and likes stopping by the service shop to swap parts. It fits well if you play with maps that include dirt tracks or rural areas, although in the game it’s still a car built for the road.
Version
The author’s official thread on the SCS forum says it’s updated to version 1.61.

Requirements

How to install it
- Open the mod's official thread on the SCS forum and click the download link in the first post.
- Download the file from the host the author links to.
- If it comes compressed, unzip it and copy the .scs file to Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod.
- Open ETS2, go to the Mod Manager and enable the Defender.
- In your save, go to a truck dealer, enter the mod dealer access and pick Land Rover.
- Buy the car and stop by the service shop to add a snorkel, roof rack, ladder or other parts.

Common problems
Where do I buy it?
At truck dealers: mod dealer access > Land Rover.
What can be customized?
Interior colors, hood, side moldings, roof, grilles, wheels, pillars, roof box, snorkel and the toolbox and ladder set.
Some digital dashboard data doesn't change
That's normal: the author says the dashboard's extra info only partly works.
The Mod Manager marks it as incompatible
Check that the game is on 1.61 and that the download comes from the official thread.
