ETS2 car mods

Here are 25 mods for cars in Euro Truck Simulator 2: sedans, off-roaders, SUVs and sports cars that you drive yourself, not cars for traffic. Almost all the ETS2 car mods in this section are free (the mod page says if there's a paid version), they link only to the author's official download, and on each mod page we note the compatible version; almost all of them are up to date for 1.61, the game's current version.

How cars work in ETS2

The game only includes trucks, so a car always comes as a mod and is used like any other vehicle in your profile. When you activate a mod that adds a new brand, the dealer shows a link to the mod dealer: that's where you buy it and configure it just like a truck. If the mod uses a brand that already exists in the game, you'll also see it at that brand's dealer. A car isn't meant for cargo: it's for getting around the map without a trailer and at a different pace. There are exceptions, like the BMW 6 Series GT, which can tow a caravan.

Featured car mods

• Subaru Impreza WRX STI 2017: manual gearbox and a version up to date for 1.61; its author recommends playing it with manual shifting.
• Mazda MX-5 Miata NA: the first-generation roadster with 1.6- and 1.8-liter engines, five gears and lots of tuning parts.
• Land Rover Defender 110 2023 (L663): the current off-roader, with a snorkel, roof rack, ladder and several interior colors to customize it.
• Porsche 911 Turbo S (991.2): performance tuned to the real car, two interiors and the option to fit beacons with a siren.
• BMW 6 Series GT (G32): a detailed interior, opening windows and a caravan hitch.
• Volkswagen Parati 1994: the Brazilian station wagon with AP engines, turbo included; it needs a separate passenger mod for cars.

What to keep in mind

• Version: after every major update, check that the car has been adapted. If the author declares compatible versions and yours isn't listed, the game won't let you activate it. Some third-party sites still list as 1.60 cars that their author has already updated; trust the official source we link to.
• Dependencies: most work on their own, but read the mod page: some cars need another mod to carry passengers or for extra features.
• Installation: subscribe on Steam Workshop or copy the .scs to DocumentsEuro Truck Simulator 2mod, activate it in your profile's Mod Manager and look for the car at the dealer.
• Profile: back up your profile before trying vehicle mods, especially if you plan to remove them later.
• Online: in Convoy every player needs the same mods the session requires. TruckersMP uses its own mod manager and doesn't accept just any mod.
