Volvo 240 Estate for Euro Truck Simulator 2

What this mod does

The Volvo 240 Estate is the Swedish wagon of the ’70s and ’80s, the boxy «brick» Volvo built for nearly two decades. Indonesian modder Ananda Andika Bagaskara Putra (Babeh in ETS2) released it for free for Euro Truck Simulator 2 on November 2, 2026, on his ModLand account and in a thread on the official SCS forum.

What’s included

• Left-hand drive only.
• Two chassis.
• Interior animations «the way they should be,» according to the author.
• New material system.
• Matching set of rims and wheels.

Version and open questions

On the forum the author writes «1.61 – latest only,» meaning 1.61 and later only; on ModLand he tags it as 1.62.x, the current open beta. The .scs file is 166.21 MB and on its first day it already has over 200 downloads on ModLand. A forum user asks whether there’s only one engine and whether it only comes with square headlights; the author hasn’t answered yet. The author doesn’t say which dealership sells it: like most cars, look for it through the mod dealer access at any truck dealership. If you’re on the 1.62 beta, back up your profile first.

Requirements

• Euro Truck Simulator 2 updated to version 1.61 (or the 1.62 beta)
• Download from the author's ModLand page or from his thread on the SCS forum (Sharemods)
• No DLC or other mods required

How to install it

1. Open the mod page on ModLand (Ananda Andika Bagaskara Putra's account) and click the download button.
2. Download the .scs file from the external host the page points to.
3. Copy it to Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod.
4. Open ETS2, go to the Mod Manager and enable the car.
5. In your save, go to any truck dealership and enter the mod dealer access.
6. Buy the Volvo, choose the chassis and assign it as your vehicle.
