What this mod does
MercedesBenz MP6 New is an MP6-generation Mercedes-Benz truck for Euro Truck Simulator 2, published by Erik1520 on Steam Workshop with diesel and electric variants. It is one of the most followed trucks right now: as of November 6, 2026 it has more than 40,000 subscribers and over 480 ratings.
What it includes
- 4×2 and 6×2 diesel chassis and a 4×2 electric chassis (per the version 2.2.00 description); a rigid truck with a 4 m or 4.4 m cargo body was added later.
- Mercedes engines and transmissions adapted from SCS definitions; 2.3.56 adds three more powerful engines and three transmissions.
- Emergency recharge for the electric truck on F7: 20,000 kWh for a flat €150 fee.
- Compatibility files for the SiSL’s Mega Pack and BELKA accessories.

Version and known issues
Version 2.3.56 is from November 1, 2026; the author says it is the final one in terms of content and that the focus now is on optimization. The current description does not state a game version (the 2.2.00 one said 1.61.x). The comments include reports of crashes when selecting the non-electric variant and of F7 charging only reaching 100 kWh; nobody has confirmed 1.62 yet.

How to install it
- Open the mod page on Steam Workshop and click Subscribe.
- Also subscribe to the mods Steam lists as required and check that you own the nine DLC.
- Open ETS2, go to the Mod Manager and enable the truck and its dependencies.
- Load your profile and buy the truck at the Mercedes-Benz dealership or the mod dealership.
- If you drive the electric variant, use the F7 key for an emergency recharge.

Does it work with 1.62?
The author has not confirmed it: the current description states no version and the 2.2.00 one said 1.61.x.

How do I recharge the electric one?
With the F7 key (emergency recharge); in the comments one user says it only charges up to 100 kWh.
