What this mod does

New Scania R/S Badge is a mod by xXCARL1992Xx that expands the badges on the Scania R and S in Euro Truck Simulator 2. In December 2019 Scania renamed its S cabs, in agreement with Daimler AG, and later did the same with the R because of the Super engines; this mod lets you choose between the new style (xxxS, xxxR) and the old one (Sxxx, Rxxx).

What’s included

  • Sxxx and Rxxx badges, stock (polished) or painted.
  • xxxS and xxxR badges, stock or painted.
  • Painted V8 badges on the front, the side of the cab and the side skirts.
  • Option with no front badge for a clean look.
  • Two sample paint jobs, one metallic and one non-metallic.

Each number or letter can be painted separately: the front and side badges use the cab template, and the side skirt badge uses the 4×2 side skirt template.

Version and compatibility

Version 4.1 added compatibility with the 1.57 changes to the SCS Scania and the DC11 engine with Galimim’s Drivetrain Revision, and fixed the 410R badge. 4.1.1, from November 16, 2025, brought back the options with SCS’s Super engines.

How to install it

  1. Open the mod's page on Steam Workshop and click “Subscribe”.
  2. Wait for Steam to finish the download.
  3. Launch ETS2, open the Mod Manager and enable the mod.
  4. In your save, take your Scania R or S to a service shop with tuning.
  5. Pick the cab badge and V8 badge you like among the tuning parts.

Why are there two badge styles?

Scania renamed its S cabs in 2019 and later the R; the mod includes both.

Can they be painted?

Yes: each number or letter is painted separately using the cab and side skirt templates.

Does it work with Galimim's Drivetrain Revision?

Yes: version 4.1 added that mod's DC11 engine.
