What this mod does
Eugene’s Next Generation Scania P G R S Pack takes the next-generation Scania R and S that SCS ships with the game and turns them into a full lineup. It’s one of the most-followed truck mods on Steam Workshop, with close to half a million subscribers.
What it changes in the game
- Adds the P and G series cabs, which the base game doesn’t have in the new generation.
- Brings new chassis, side skirts and roof spoilers.
- Replaces the stock Scania R and S: they don’t show up as separate trucks; instead, the stock model becomes the mod’s version.
- It also changes the quick job trucks (Europe and the UK) and the models on display at the dealer.
Who it’s for
For anyone who wants to spec a modern Scania beyond the R and S: lower-cab trucks for distribution or rigids, or simply more variety in your fleet.
Version notes
The last update tagged with a game version was the one for 1.57 (November 2025), followed by fixes in December 2025 and January 2026. In May 2025 the author added compatibility with add-ons from other creators, such as Kast’s rigids and Sebastian’s swap body chassis.

Requirements
- Euro Truck Simulator 2 (latest mod update targets 1.57)
- Steam account to subscribe on the Workshop
- Disable other mods that modify the stock Scania R/S
How to install it
- Open the mod's page on Steam Workshop and click "Subscribe".
- Wait for Steam to download the files (about 250 MB).
- Launch the game and open the Mod Manager for your profile.
- Enable "Next Generation Scania P G R S Pack" and place it above any parts or skin mods that depend on it.
- Go to the Scania dealer or your garage to configure the new P and G cabs.

Common problems
Will I lose my current Scania R and S?
You won't lose the truck, but the mod replaces the stock model, so you'll see the mod's parts and cabs instead of the originals.
Does it work on 1.61?
The last update with a stated version is 1.57; there's no note for 1.60 or 1.61 on Steam yet, so you may get warnings or errors.
Is it compatible with Kast's rigids?
Since the May 2025 update, the author lists compatibility with Kast's rigids and other add-ons.
